Der New Balance 550 'White Navy' verleiht einem Vintage-Hoops-Schuh, der ursprünglich 1989 ver öffentlicht wurde, eine einfache zweifarbige Palette. Das geschichtete weiße Leder obermaterial wird durch eine Reihe von dunkelblauen Akzenten kontrastiert, die durch ein erhöhtes 'N'-Logo und '550' auf dem seitlichen Vorfuß hervor gehoben werden. Weitere Details sind eine atmungsaktive Nylon zunge, ein gepolsterter Textil kragen und eine Vorfuß auflage aus Wildleder. Das Retro-Werkzeug des Sneakers besteht aus einer stabilen Gummi-Cupsohle mit einem freiliegenden EVA-Keil an der medialen Seitenwand.
